Lillian M. BOOS

BOOS - Lillian M. Lillian, the only child of Joseph and Lillian Grimaud, was born December 16, 1927 in Buffalo, NY. She resided in the Buffalo/Clarence area until 1996 when she relocated to Fountain Hills, AZ with her husband and mother (both deceased 2004). Lillian attended Bryant & Stratton Business School and worked briefly as an executive secretary before marrying Donald G. Boos in 1947. At that time, she became a professional homemaker. Mrs. Boos' social memberships included the Tan Tara Country Club in New York and the American Legion Post #58 Auxiliary in Arizona. She was also a volunteer for Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Williamsville, NY. Lil was an accomplished pianist/organist and, as a young adult, taught piano to others. Lillian enjoyed bowling, golf, shopping and trips to the Casino. She was a gracious and outgoing woman that made friends easily and effortlessly with whomever she met. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Lillian is survived by her daughter, Lori Boos (Dave Kaminski) of Fountain Hills and by her beloved kitty, Snickers. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday, October 12, 2012 at 1:30 PM at The Chapel of Fountain View Village, 16455 E. Avenue of the Fountains, (480) 836-5000. In light of Lillian's love of animals and her dedication to the abolishment oft heir neglect and abuse, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, tributes be made in Lillian's name to Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, Utah 84741-5000 or call (435) 6442001 ext. 4801.
