RUDNICK - Walter W. Sr. May 7, 2011, at age 86, beloved husband of 65 years to Marian (nee Pirk) Rudnick; devoted father of Walter "Wally" (Delphine) Rudnick, Jr., Nancy (Richard) Koch and Janice Lynn (Henry) Chimes; loving grandfather of Amy Rudnick, Brian (Sara) Koch, Jeffrey (Tina) Rudnick, Melanie Koch, Jenelle (Timothy) Bantle and Jessica Chimes; great-grandfather of Ashton, Alexis, Kate, Julia, Tristan and Carter; dear brother of Doris Zardeskas, William (Maryann) Lauber, Mary Lou Zawadski, Richard (Claudia) Lauber and the late Robert Rudnick and Franklin Lauber; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will be present on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Urban-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 3645 Genesee St. (two blocks East of Union Rd) where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM. Friends invited. Walter was a Navy Veteran of WWII, a Silver Star recipient and an exempt member of U-Crest Fire Department. Share condolences at www.AMIGONE.com

I just wanted to let you know how much
Walter helped me out when I first started
in the kitchen business at Foster Thayer.
He was a great teacher, and much of what
he taught me I still use today. I loved
his sense of humor. We will miss him.
