Over the past week, I have been reflecting on all the things that made your dad so special, some of which have been mentioned already.
Many memories of my early childhood, when we had first moved to Florida and visited Niagara Falls so often, revolve around activities at the house on Forest Avenue. Clambakes, barbecues, holidays, birthday parties, and Sunday dinners (never without wine and a bouquet of flowers!) -- Uncle Larry was always the perfect host. And his unique sense of humor was so entertaining, even back then when we were really too young to fully appreciate it.
I also remember how we cousins would get together to pick the cherries from his two big cherry trees in the backyard. And how much pride Uncle Larry took in what had to be the most beautiful roses anywhere.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you -- Anthony, Lorraine, Marianne, and your families. I hope that all of your happy memories will help console you through this very difficult time.

It was at my grandfather's funeral that I first had the pleasure of truly getting to know Uncle Larry. Despite the sadness of the circumstances, I recall being very excited to meet a whole side of my family that I really didn't know much about. Uncle Larry was truly a standout. His kindness instantly made my sister and me feel welcome to the extended family, helping to ease the grieving process. Always impeccably dressed, Uncle Larry carried himself with dignity and grace only befitting a person of his good character. In short, I'm very glad to have had the pleasure to know Uncle Larry. He will be missed.
My sincere condolences to Anthony, Lorraine and Marianne.

I only remember meeting Uncle Larry once at my grandfather's funeral. He was an extremely kind hearted man with charisma and wit.
He was a dapper man with a beautiful garden in which his spirt will live on forever.
He will be greatly missed!

"Uncle Larry" was one of the most original and kind people that I ever had the pleasure of meeting. My wife's uncle had class, pizzazz, humor, knowledge and it was wonderful to be in his company.
My deepest condolences to Tony, Lorraine, Marianne and their families.
I'm sure that he is already in Heaven discussing the virtues of vintage wines.

Although the passing of Uncle Larry is a sad event, my mind is filled with the happy memories of his dry sense of humor, backyard bar-b-ques, impeccable attire, and that conversation while enjoying a glass of wine.
Uncle Larry, I salute you.
