I didn't get a chance to meet Alix personally but you have made it very clear the kind hearted person she was and seems to live in you each and every day. As an Aunt and godmother of a child lost by a drunk driver, I feel your pain. Unfortunately I have experienced the tragedy and what it does to a family. I am one of Alix's former school bus drivers from this past school year. My heart dropped as I read and heard about the horrific tragedy. Alix, was a great young lady from what I noticed while she rode on my bus. She always brought a smile to my face and made me laugh, no matter how I was feeling that day. She touched my heart and because of that, I will make sure that I will always remember her! My deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers go out to her family as well as to Alix. R.I.P. Alix My Dear, You were truly a remarkable person. I remember when I first met you, you decided to come up behind me and scare the living day lights out of me. I didn't get mad, we just laughed about it. We got to talking and I honestly was amazed with how outgoing you were. You lived your life making people smile and Laugh, and that's why we love you. Alix, you never failed to brighten someone's day. No matter how rough times got, you always stayed true to yourself, and that's something that's rare these days. I am forever grateful that I got a chance to see her winning smile for the last time the other day when she was at Sheridan Surgical. I thought at the time how beautiful she looked, how I wished I had told her. Her bright red top, ruby red lips and long dark hair will be burned in my memory forever.
