Dear Tony, Mary, Catherine, Margaret and George,
Many years have passed since some of you were children in the old neighborhood—and I would take you for afternoon walks. As a girl, I admired your mother's kindness and good nature. She impressed me as a caring wife, mother and homemaker. I have fond memories of the friendship between our families. I send my condolences for your loss. I'm consoled that Dorothy's spirit lives through you.

Mary, I was saddened to hear of your mom's passing. I met her for the 1st time several years ago when I returned a personal object that belonged to her father. She and my father, Ed, were cousins.

Mary,
I am so sorry to hear about your mother. She will always be remembered as one of the "CKS" moms,walking down Lamark to attend Mass. And I will feel a bit sad when I drive by her home and no longer see her little glass bottles in the front windows.
