We are so saddened to hear this news. It took my breath away when I first heard what had happened. It's only after a loss like this than one reflects on all of the good in an individual. Although we haven't seen or spoke to Les in a few years, the impact of his infectious smile, warm personality and competitive spirt live on in our hearts and minds. Dear Karen and Family, To hear about the sudden lose of Lester has more than broken our hearts. Lester was as close to a family member to us as one could ever imagine being. He was also an important role model for me. His patience and understanding to help me grow through my teenage years is something I will never forget him for and I couldn't thank him enough. He always treated me like he was my big brother or even a best friend. Lester helped to get me involved in Dirt Bikes, Martial Arts and even weight lifting. This world lost a very great man and an even better friend. One of the last things I remember we discussed was when we got together a couple years ago in NC, Lester and I exchanged emails. Lester told me he was not very good at emailing back and forth and staying in contact. I said it was OK, I just wanted a way to get in touch if I came back up to NY. I regret never emailing him or calling. Life is short, live it to the fullest like Lester did.
