SCHUBERT - Daniel S.P., M.D. PhD Died March 20, 2013 after a long illness. Beloved husband of Nancy L. Schubert (nee Lapham); dear father of Alex W.L. Schubert (Kristine J.) of Palatine, IL; dear grandfather of Maya and Clara. He received his MD from University of Buffalo and his PhD from the University of Chicago and his Residency Training from Yale School of Medicine. Daniel served in the U.S. Army. He was a Professor of Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve Medical School. He was on the staff at Metro Health Medical Center. Daniel authored many scientific papers and was Editor of Psychiatry in Medicine. He was past president of the Cleveland Psychiatric Society and a member of The American Psychiatric Association. Daniel was a longtime supporter of The Cleveland Orchestra and a lover of science and reading. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Church of The Saviour Columbarium.
