McROBB - Donald Ivan Of Bluffton, SC, died on October 5, 2012 after a year long battle with lung cancer. He was born on January 11, 1936 in Buffalo, NY. He was a veteran and served in the US Marine Corps in the Korean War. He had a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice from Buffalo State University. He lived in West Seneca, NY prior to retirement, where he was an Erie County deputy sheriff from 1965-2000. He was predeceased by his wife, Marcia Louise Smith McRobb and daughter Tiffany McRobb. He is survived by his sons, Kelly McRobb of Phoenix, AZ, Shannon McRobb of Bluffton, SC and Craig McRobb of Denver, CO; sister Kathleen Heyward of San Francisco, CA; and grandsons Andrew McRobb of Edison, NJ and Cameron McRobb of Denver, CO. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am, Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road. A burial will be held at Beaufort National Cemetery, at 11 am, Monday, November 5, 2012. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Anderson Cancer Institute, Memorial Health, 4700 Waters Avenue, Savannah, GA 31404.
