DEAK - Lester Age 68, of the Town of Pendleton, December 12, 2013. Mr. Deak was a 100 percent disabled U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He served in Vietnam, holding the rank of Staff Sargent. He retired from Harrison Radiator after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the United Auto Workers; beloved son of Katherine Deak; dear father of April (Jimmy) Farrell, Amy (Fiance;e Dennis Falbo) Deak, and Aaron (Fiance;e Sarah Ickowski) Deak. Grandfather of A. J. Deak, Joshua and Shelby Farrell and Jacob Falbo. Brother of Aranka Nyquist, Sander Deak, Joseph Deak and Kathy Evans; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the FRETTHOLD FUNERAL HOME INC., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 AM from Pendleton Center United Methodist Church, 6864 Campbell Blvd,, Town of Pendleton. Interment will be in Bath National Cemetery.
