SIEGEL - Maria V. (nee Mastandrea) August 12, 2012, in Birmingham, AL, at the age of 94, beloved wife of the late Frederick Siegel; dearest mother of Virginia (David) Kenny, Frederick Siegel and Cathleen McAlpine; dear grandmother of Jacqueline (David) Kenny-Marwick, Julianne (Don) Kenny- Saunders, David Kenny, Jeannette (Keith) Kenny-Kibler, Frederick III (Yvette) Siegel, Katherine (Kristofer) Chuhta, Terese (Joel) Siegel-Santana, Christine Siegel, Maximillian Siegel, Mickennzie Siegel, Montgomery Siegel, Regina Ziolkowski-D'Andrea (Rick), William Ziolkowski and 13 great grandchildren; daughter of the late Guisseppe and Catherina (nee Ricigliano) Mastandrea; sister of Angelo (late Vincentina) Mastandrea, Stephen Michael (late Marian) Mastandrea, Sr. Angela Marie OSF; Anthony Mastandrea, Donald Mastandrea, John (Jean) Mastandrea and the late Joseph, Vincent (Arlene), Frank, Victor, Virginia (William) Schaffstall and Frederick Mastandrea; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 85 George Urban Blvd (west of Harlem Rd), where funeral services will be held Friday at 8:45 AM and from St. Anthony of Padua Church at 9:30 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Siegel was a retired teacher at Nativity of Blessed Virgin in Buffalo, loved her family, ceramics, crocheting, traveling, casinos and cooking.
