KROLL - William A.
Mr. Kroll died October 20, 2008 after a long stay in Intensive Care stemming from his tragic episode with polio, its debilitating lifelong effects and his legacy of breathing difficulties. He was a photographer in Rochester, Ithaca, New York City and Lakeland, FL. Bill was an avid yellow pike fisherman and sports enthusiast. His spirit, energy and natural artistic nature proved itself in his wonderful watercolor paintings that he proudly exhibited. He was the son of the late Elmer and Bessie (Leege) Kroll and brother of the late Robert Kroll. Surviving are his brother; Douglas (Karen) Kroll and his sisters; Fay (John) Carney and Phyllis (Vincent) Carriere. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews. Bill requested cremation and scattering of his cremains. Arrangements by The NORMAN E. GANNON & SONS, INC. FUNERAL HOME, 1075 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna (824-4000). Private prayers and thoughtful memories are encouraged, since no formal Memorial Service is planned at this time.
