KOVACH - Julius J. December 5, 2010 of Buffalo, NY; beloved husband of Ruth M. (nee Jensen); dear father of Paul (Barbara) Kovach, Nora (John) Clark and Peter Kovach (Karen Kominos); grandfather of Nicholas and Elizabeth Kovach and Haley and Henry Clark; brother of the late Joseph (late Julie) Kovach, Ida (late Steven) Kaduk, Thelma (Howard) Drahms and Emma (Steven) Boldis; brother-in- law of Paul (Lorraine) Jensen, Karen (late James) Ruch and the late Robert (Doris) Jensen; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving relatives and friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the SIECK & MAST FUNERAL HOME, 280 Grover Cleveland Hwy. at North Bailey, Amherst, 839-5990. (same location as Harry A. Wedekindt Funeral Home.) Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM at First Trinity Lutheran Church, 1570 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tonawanda. (Please assemble at church.) Julius was a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and a violinist with the BPO for 44 years as well as the Librarian for the BPO for 25 years. He also was a violinist and Concert Master for the Amherst Chamber Ensemble following retirement for many years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Trinity Lutheran Church, Hospice Buffalo or Niagara Hospice. Interment in Elmlawn Cemetery.
