BENNINGER - Glenn E. Age 92, of DuBois, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on November 3, 1919, the son of the late Leonard and Gertrude (Chittester) Benninger. Glenn was employed by Ford Motor Company in Buffalo, NY and served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Falls Creek Eagles, lifetime member of the VFW, the American Legion and the Big O Club. Mr. Benninger is survived by his daughters, Brenda Sekuterski and Robin Lalka, both of Buffalo, NY; three sisters, Leona Hanes of DuBois, Evelyn Gilling of DuBois and Viola Wickman of New York. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Mildred Rokosky; his second wife, Carol (Graham) Keen; three sons, Glenn Benninger, Kenneth Keen and Richard Keen; three brothers, Melvin, Leory, Clarence Benninger and a sister, Jane Wickman. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 12 PM at MOHNEY YARGAR FUNERAL CHAPEL with Reverend Robert Myers, officiating. Full Military Honors will be accorded by the DuBois Area Honor Guard following the service. Burial will be in Beechwoods Cemetery. Friends will be received Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
