WELLS - James P. November 6, 2012, beloved husband of Rita H. (nee Hurliman) Wells; devoted father of Margaret R. Wells (John R. Drexelius, Jr.), Mary Jean Wells (Brian A. Kozlowski), Patrick J. Wells (Patricia Hardina), Paul F. (Eve P.) Wells, Seamus M. (Hanh N.) O'Brien and Maureen B. Wells; loving grandfather of James, Michelle, Kathleen, Sarah, West, Patrick, Stephen, Ethan, Philip, Natalie, Nathaniel and Joshua; dear brother of Robert M. Wells and the late Daniel E. (Lorraine) Wells and Raymond F. Wells; brother-in-law of Alice Wells, Jacqueline Wells, Louis (Ruth) Hurliman, Rosemary (Vito) Rizzo, Anthony Hurliman, Mary Ann Hurliman, Lorraine (Robert) Urso and the late Dorothy (Arthur) Gorski and James Hurliman; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the C. MERTZ & SON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 911 Englewood Ave. on Wednesday from 4-8 PM and Thursday from 2-5 and 7-9 PM. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at. St. John the Baptist Church (Englewood Ave.) Friday at 10:45 AM. Please assemble at church. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John the Baptist Church or The Buffalo Zoo are appreciated.
