GILLETTE - Richard A., Sr. November 17, 2012 of Hamburg, NY; beloved husband of Jessie (nee Gabriel); devoted father of Barbara (Mike), Patricia, Laura (Joseph) Congilosi, Diane (Tom) Zelasko, Richard Gillette, Jr.; loving brother of Arthur (late Jean), Marian (Dan) Tauriello, and the late Warren (late Bennie), Ida (late Ken) McGrath, Fred (late Eleanor), Harry, and Howard (Julie) Gillette; also survived by nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Friends received at the LAKESIDE MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4199 Lake Shore Rd. (corner Camp Rd. & Rte. 5) Hamburg, NY, 716-627-2919 Saturday and Sunday from 3 - 7 PM, where funeral services will be held Monday at 10:15 AM and at St. Matthew's UCC at 11 AM. Dick was a member of Merrill's Marauders and the Hamburg Democratic Committee. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the VFW #1419 Building Fund or Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
