LEMPKE - John E. Age 93, June 29, 2013, of Cheektowaga, NY, beloved husband of the late Helen (nee Olszewski); dearest father of Janice (late Benjamin) Wiech, Evy (Dennis) Adams and John B. (Mary) Lempke; loving grandfather of Jennifer Wiech, Judy (Will) Kowarko, Andrea (Matthew) Reynolds, Scott Adams, John J. (Angelica) and Jason J. (Ivette) Lempke; great-grandfather of Evan and Liam Reynolds, John J., Isabel and Sofia Lempke; brother of the late Genevieve (late Raymond) Mrowinski, late Julia (Joseph) Wnek and late Celia Lempke; survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral services commencing at the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME, 2510 Union Rd., Cheektowaga (two blocks south of William St.) Wednesday morning at 9:15 AM and in St. John Gualbert R.C. Church at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Flowers gratefully declined. John was a member of the Leonard Post Jr. VFW Post #6251, a toy train enthusiast and avid fisherman.
