SCHAD - David Lloyd Age 70 of Akron, NY passed away on Thursday March 6, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer due to his exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam. David was born January 25, 1944 in Akron, NY . David was a decorated Vietnam Veteran serving his country with The U.S. Army. He received many honors including two Purple Hearts while serving in Vietnam. David is survived by his loving and devoted wife Carolyn Ann Miller Schad. David is also survived by a wonderful caring and loving family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service celebrating David's Life on Saturday March 22, 2014 at 3 PM at The First United Methodist Church of Akron, 7 Church Street, Akron, NY. Immediately following please join us at The LL Tillman American Legion Post # 900, 9 Eckerson Ave. Akron, NY to celebrate David's Life. In lieu of flowers, David's family requests that donations in Honor of David be made to American Cancer Chapter "TEAM: THE HIPPIES" WNY Region-Amherst, 101 John James Audubon Parkway, Amherst, NY 14228.
