Dear Mrs Michalek and Brian,
My son Rafique and Brian were planning to meet in Bali on August 1st. My family was in Thailand when Rafique heard the tragic news. While we did not know your daughter we were all shocked and saddened that such a young and vibrant life had ended so suddenly. May you and your family be granted with strength at this hour of grief and sorrow. Our deepest condolences.

With heart felt sympathy for Kim's Family.
I had a pleasure to meet Kim while vacationing in St Lucia this past January 2015. We met while taking a beach walk one day during our trip. Within moments we were having a discussion like we new each other for years. Coincidently we were born on the same day. Our Polish heritage brought the conversation to food, traditions she remembered and cherished. We both were planning to meet in Poland one day in the near future. I will remember this very sweet and loving person, and always be grateful for meeting her. We stayed in touch until her day of arrival to Australia. May she rest in peace.

I remember my first encounter with Kim, I needed assistance with some paperwork and she gladly offered to help me to the best of her knowledge, in her I saw a person full of life, kindness and love for fellow beings, the world has become one side darker because a bright lamp has departed. My condolences to the family and friends of Kimberly.
Met Kim in Soyo Angola and as much as she was outgoing and very sociable, she was also well respected as a professional in her field and always very passionate about her work.
She has left a gap here with the various groups in Soyo and more so the Trinidadians as she was dubbbed an "honourary Trini".
Kim learnt to play "all fours" (a Trinidadian card game) and sure enough, she was beating the rest of us with a smile.
Cheers!! as we will always raise a "Nocal" to you in honour of your friendship.

Our deep felt condolences to Kim's family. We had the pleasure of having Kim as our renter for several years in Anchorage. We looked forward to catching up on her grand adventures when she did come back home from time to time. We cherish memories of sharing meals while basking in the glow of her laugh. Our deepest sympathies to Kim's family and friends. Her sudden passing is such a shock. Soyo will not be the same. I will miss my poker partner and Portuguese teacher. She always had a smile on her face and amazing stories of her adventures all over the world. She packed a lot of life into her short time. Word cannot express the deep sorrow in my heart for each of you in the loss of Kim (Bubbles). My heartfelt sympathy and condolences are extended to the family for your loss.
I met and worked with Bubbles in Soyo, Angola, and spent many of my days and weekends with her hanging out, BBQ, shopping for African material, art and crafts.
Bubbles smile, hearty laughter and adventure stories kept us laughing and appreciating her sense of humor. Bubbles will be missed by many, but not forgotten.
Soyo will not be the same without Bubbles, but I know Heaven have received an angel that will not let anyone rest.
May God grant you comfort, peace,strength and joy during the difficult days ahead.
