Obituary

AURORA – Alice Irene Quint, 90, of Marshalltown, formerly of Harpers Ferry and Aurora, died peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 15, at the Iowa Veteran's Home, Marshalltown, Iowa.
Alice Irene Quint was born on April 27, 1926 in rural Cedar Falls, the daughter of Clarence and Esther Stimson Popp.
Alice was united in marriage to Nick Quint on April 19, 1945 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Winthrop. She is survived by her children: son, Nick (Catherine) Quint of Madison, Wis.; daughter, Judy (Dean) Hauschildt of Springfield, Mo.; and son, Dan (Michelle) Quint of LaCrosse, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Nick, son Steven; sisters: Mary Main and Emma Bacon; as well as several sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her honor.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Winthrop with Father David Beckman officiating. Interment will be in Paint Rock Cemetery near Harpers Ferry.
