COUNCIL BLUFFS - Arlene H. (Ulm) Walton, 81, of Council Bluffs, passed away at her home on Monday, Oct. 17.
Arlene was born in Independence on Aug. 9, 1930, to Frederick and Veda Armstrong Ulm. She graduated from Independence High, and also attended business school. Arlene was united in marriage to Donald Lee Walton. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald in 2001, son David Walton, and brother Bill Ulm. Arlene leaves to mourn her children, son Steve and wife Kela, of Ackley, daughter in law, Liz Walton, of Crescent, son Dan and wife LeAnn, of Strongsville, Ohio, Patricia Andersen and husband Brian, of Ennis, Texas, Cathi Derby, Julie McComas and husband Carroll all Council Bluffs, 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. and the funeral service will be on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 11 a.m., all at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel, in Council Bluffs. Interment will be at Lewis Township Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at Midwest Worship Center. Family will direct memorials.
