OELWEIN - Cheryl Ann Adams, 49, of Oelwein was found at her home Saturday, March 9.
Friends may visit with family for a time of socializing and remembrance from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at the Geilenfeld Funeral Chapel, 309 First Ave. N.E. in Oelwein. Inurnment will be at a later date in Wilson Cemetery, Independence.
Cheryl was born May 11, 1963 in Doniphan, Mo., the daughter of Willard and Norma Jean (Mincler) Adams. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her two daughters, Mellony Harris of Oelwein and Chrystal Harris of Maynard; 2 grandchildren, Coda and Cade Dowd; seven siblings, Ronnie Haas of Independence, Terry Haas of Aurora, Roxanne Thoree of Independence, Dean (Theresa) Haas of Lamont, Scott Foster of Charlotte, N.C., Terrill Adams of Independence, and Dennis (Lavere) Adams of Evansdale, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Leo Haas.
A memorial fund has been established in Cheryl's name.
