Obituary

INDEPENDENCE – David J. Huber, 78, of Independence, (formerly of Manchester,) went to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at the Buchanan County Health Center in Independence.
David was born on Dec. 11, 1934, the son of George and Molly (Hill) Huber.
David served in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer from 1953 to 1955 in the Korean conflict.
David will be forever missed by his wife, Jeanne, of Independence.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents; four brothers, Jay, Pat, Tom and Donald; two sisters, Laura Mangold and Katie Mullan; and his daughter, Jane Ellen Huber.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home – Manchester, with a 3 p.m. Scripture Service and a 4 p.m. KC Rosary. ALSO one hour before service at the church on Friday.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct.4, at St. Mary Catholic Church – Manchester. Concelebrants: Rev. Joseph Schneider and Rev. Aloysius Vorwald.
Interment with Military Rites: St. Mary Catholic Cemetery – Manchester.
