QUASQUETON - Dorothy W. Clark, 97 of Independence, Iowa and formerly of Quasqueton, Iowa died Sunday morning, September 19th, 2010 at the Buchanan County Long Term Care Center in Independence following a short illness.
Dorothy was born on March 3, 1913 in Los Angeles, CA., the daughter of Benjamin and Adella (Turner) Wade. She attended the Des Moines Schools, Des Moines, IA., and graduated from the Quasqueton Consolidated High School in 1931. On November 22, 1935 she was united in marriage to Raymond M. Clark in Iowa City, Iowa. The family made their home in Quasqueton, Iowa.
She is survived by five children; Robert W. (Donna) Clark, and Arthur L. (Shirley) Clark, Quasqueton, IA., John S. (Patti) Clark, and Wayne Clark, Oelwein, IA., and Denise R. (Tom Burke) Clark-Burke, Independence, IA., 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday at the Union Church, Quasqueton, IA with Rev. Kevin Jennings officiating. Burial will be in the Quasqueton Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Monday at the Reiff Funeral Home, Quasqueton, Iowa, and from 9 AM to services Tuesday at the church.
