WALKER – G. Audrey Williams, 90 years old, of rural Walker, died on Friday, Nov. 30, at her home following a long illness. She was born on Aug. 11, 1922, in Springville, the daughter of George Allen and Lora Ethel (Larson) Gunnison. On Aug. 22, 1943, she and Lynn Morgan Williams were married at the Christian Church in Marion. They farmed north of Walker. Mrs. Williams was also the office manager of the Iowa State University Extension office in Cedar Rapids for nine and a half years. Then she worked in the Loan Department at First Trust and Savings in Cedar Rapids for three years.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 69 years, Lynn, one son, James Williams of Walker, one daughter, Jeanne (Keith) Dudley of Troy Mills, three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Norman Gunnison.
Funeral Services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the Walker Bible Church in Walker, with Pastor Casey Reinkoester officiating. Burial will be in the Walker Cemetery.
