Obituary

BRANDON – George G. Fulton, 76, of Brandon, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2016 at the Cedar Valley Hospice house in Waterloo.
George was born on Dec. 30, 1939, in Dubuque, the son of Verl G. and Ruby K. (Toomer) Fulton. In 1957 he proudly joined in the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War. On October 4, 1961 he married Rosemary Ann Zitz in Monroe, Mich.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rosemary of Brandon: four children: George (Betty) Wright, Cedar Rapids, Kathy (James) Kanagy, Holbrook, Dwayne Fulton, Brandon, and Darlene Fulton, North Liberty; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Verlen Fulton, Independence; and many nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in death by his parents; three daughters: Debbie, Marie Ann, and Lynn Fulton; and two brothers, Jim and Roland Fulton.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Church of Christ, Brandon, with Teresa Powers officiating. Burial will be held at the Walker Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. till services at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the church in Brandon.
