FAIRBANK - Jamie Lee Risse, 37, of Fairbank, died Sunday at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, from complications of cancer. He was employed at American Color Imaging, Cedar Falls and was a graduate from Wapsie Valley High School and attended NIACC for two years and graduate from University of Northern Iowa. He coached boys basketball at Waspie Valley High School for 17 years. Funeral Mass will take place at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fairbank Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Fairbank. Survivors include his wife, Jessica; three daughters: Haley, Hanna and Kate; one son, Kobe, all at home; his parents, Jim and Kathy Risse; his mother in-law and father in-law, Tom and Judy Boehme, all of Fairbank; a maternal grandfather: Willis Kruckenberg of Hampton; a paternal grandmother: Harriett Risse of Readlyn; his sister in-law and brother in-law: Michelle and Shawn Mullihan and his brother in-law and sister in-law, Lewis and Chris Boehme, all from Fairbank, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceeded in death by his grandmother: Marlys Kruckenberg, paternal grandfather, Wilbur Risse. He was born July 1, 1972 in Iowa City to James Charles Risse and Kathryn Kaye Kruckenberg. He and the former Jessica Marie Boehme were married June 10, 1995 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fairbank. Memorials may be directed to the family.
