Wilson, Jeffrey E. died June 11th at John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born December 7, 1941 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Jeff spent most of his adult life in Campbell, California. He was raised in Independence, Iowa. His parents Glenn and Naomi Wilson owned the John Deere Store in Independence from 1946-1961. He graduated from Independence High School in 1960. He was active in sports at IHS, playing both football and basketball; he also belonged to the Latin Club. After graduation he attended Texas A&M for a year before moving with his family to Albuquerque, New Mexico. He worked for National Shirt Shops and became an assistant manager before moving to Las Cruces, New Mexico where he completed his degree from New Mexico State University. He graduated in 1972. After graduation he moved to Reno, Nevada for several years and later to the San Jose - Campbell, California area. There he started his own company, Remodeling Specialist, which he ran for over 20 years. He sold the business and retired in 2005. Jeff kept up his interest in sports by playing in a softball league, he loved politics and had many wonderful conversations concerning current events. He also loved to travel and took several wonderful trips. Illness forced him to leave Campbell in December of 2008 and he moved for a brief stay to his sister's in Phoenix, Arizona until June of this year. He is predeceased by his parents Glenn and Naomi Wilson. Survivors include his sister Candace Overland (John), brother Tod Wilson (Shiela), nieces Nora, Meghan and Jamie and 2 grand nieces Alyssa and Lilianna. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, June 26th at All Saints Episcopal Church in Phoenix, Arizona.
