OELWEIN - Larry L. Reisner, 51, of Oelwein, died on Saturday morning, July 3, 2010 at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City of injuries he sustained in a construction accident on Thursday in Waverly.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, with Jake Blitsch officiating. Visitation will continue for one hour before the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein.

Larry Lee Reisner was born on October 9, 1958 at Oelwein, the son of William Richard & Martha Marie (Neuman) Reisner. He received his education at the Oelwein Community Schools. Larry then served in the U.S. Army. After his military service, Larry worked for Reilly Construction of Ossian, the Chicago Northwestern Railroad in Waterloo, Bertch Cabinets in Jesup, Peterson Construction of Webster City and for the past nine years at Larson Construction of Independence. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboy football team and the Chicago Cubs baseball team.
Larry is survived by his two brothers: Jim (Mardy) Reisner of Oelwein and Skip (Mary) Reisner of Oelwein; four sisters: Barb Shaffer of Cokato, Minnesota, Sandy Hansen of Oelwein, Debbie (Arthur) Medberry of Oelwein and his twin sister: Mary Reisner of Oelwein; a ister-in-law: Lydia Reisner of Oelwein; many nieces and nephews and a special friend: Lori Heath of Oelwein. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers: Junior, Terry, Bobby and Rick Reisner.
