ARIZONA CITY, Ariz. - Marlene (Vogel) Wienands, 71, of Arizona City, Ariz., and formerly of Jesup, died July 31, 2010, in Casa Grande, Ariz. Marlene was born Sept. 2, 1938, in Waterloo, the daughter of Francis Vogel and Adeline Holbach Vogel. She married Donald Brasch in Jesup in 1956. They later divorced. She married Dean Wienands in 1973. She is survived by her husband Dean; two daughters: Marianne (Mike) Aneweer of Hudson, Lori (Norman) McKenzie of Rustburg, Va; two sons: Mark Brasch of Fairbank and Mike (Heidi) Brasch of Arizona City, Ariz.; two step-sons: Dennis Wienands of Chandler, Ariz., and Jim Wienands of Casa Grande, Ariz.; her mother, Adeline Vogel of Independence; two sisters, Karen (Loy) McLaughlin of Independence, Diane (Richard) Youngblut of Jesup; four brothers: Gary (Doris) Vogel of Dubuque, Don (Diane) Vogel of Peoria, Ariz., Jim (Kathy) Vogel of Waterloo, Larry (Linda) Vogel of Jesup; nine grandchildren, Bridget Aneweer and Kayleigh Renken, both of Reinbeck, Jed Aneweer of Hudson, Travis McKenzie of Wamego, Kan., Mandie Butler and Mike McKenzie both of Concord, Va., Cody Brasch of Fairbank, Alan Brasch and Adam Brasch, both of Jesup; five great-grandchildren: Jace Aneweer and Tayler Renken, both of Reinbeck, Levi Butler of Concord, Va., Haley and Andrew McKenzie of Wamego, Kan. Marlene was preceded in death by her father Francis Vogel, brother-in-law, Lew Nabholz. A private family memorial services was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at J. Warren Funeral Services Casa Grande, Ariz.
