Pauline Alta (Todd) Hogan (1916 - 2013)

Obituary
The Guest Book is expired.

INDEPENDENCE – Our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was a mover and a shaker. In her prime she was a manager of businesses and real estate. She was a motivator to keep people doing their potential. She took pride in her accomplishments and her family. She never acted or felt "old". She enjoyed traveling, loved living on the water in Florida and Michigan, and was proud of the fact she had a computer and communicated by email and used the Internet. She was interested in what her family and friends were doing, had a good sense of humor and was generous.
Pauline was born Oct. 12, 1916 to Alta and Harold Todd. She is survived by a son Larry Miller of Cedar Rapids, a daughter Sheri (John) Muench of Aurora, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, two sisters LaVerna Mason and Luella Foland, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by two brothers Eddie and Frank Todd and a grandson Michael Muench.
Pauline had a fall in April of 2010 in her home in Independence and moved to Prairie Hills Assisted Living. Her health issues required her to move to ABCM Rehab West Campus in 2012. She died at this rehab center on Saturday, Nov. 2 at the age of 97 of heart failure. White Funeral Home is in charge of carrying out her wishes of cremation and complying with her wishes no service will be held.
