Charlotte Mae Scriven(1951 - 2013)

Charlotte Mae Scriven, 61, of Fort Collins passed away March 24, 2013 after a long illness.

She was born April 27, 1951 in Bridgeport, Neb. to Francis and Romola Scriven.

She moved with her family from Bridgeport to Springfield and graduated from Burlington High School in 1969. Charlotte graduated from Colorado State University in 1973.

She lived in Denver for four years before moving to Fort Collins. She was employed by Hewlett Packard in the accounting department for 20 1/2 years.

After an early retirement, she purchased JL Associates, a tax and accounting business in Windsor.

Charlotte had many wonderful friends in her life who she loved very much.

She was a member of the Grand Chapter of Colorado Order of the Eastern Star. She was elected the Grand Treasurer in 2006 and served in the position until her illness. She was recently voted Grand Treasurer Emeritus by the State Chapter.

She will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her brother, Clark (Diane) Scriven; nieces, Erica (David) Derby and Lacey (Kevin) Cashman; great-nieces, Cora and Quinn Derby; and her special adopted parents, Maxine and Lee Blooding.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 24, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Fort Collins Masonic Temple, 225 W. Oak Street.
