1952 - 2013 |
Delbert Dean Wall was born July 28, 1952 in Olton, Texas to Elva Mae and Neil Wall. He went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 at the age of 61.
His parents lived on a farm in Texas and then moved to Colorado.
During his senior year in high school he met Judy Best on a blind date. They were married in October 1970.
Dean saw a picture of the first graduating class at Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Okla. He thought "next year you'll be in that picture."
They soon moved to Tulsa and enrolled at Rhema Bible Training Center, and were in the second graduating class.
After graduation they moved to Denver and started a church. He pastored there for 11 years and planted many seeds of God's Word in people's lives.
For the past few years Dean has devoted much of his time to spreading God's Word through writing.
He has published 3 books (including Healing Words From Heaven and 90 Days to More Faith, Freedom and Victory), many Scripture-based teaching helps, and a daily devotional email that has over 35,000 subscribers throughout the world.
Dean devoted his entire life to giving and serving others for Christ.
Dean was also a very involved grandpa, lovingly called "Pa" by his 11 grandkids. He enjoyed the grandkids immensely, and spent countless hours actively involved in each of their lives.
Dean is survived by his wife Judy Wall; their 3 children: Kerri Ophus (Jason), Stephanie O'Malley (KIenny), and John Wall (Heather); 11 grandchildren: Chase, Grace, Drew and Emma Ophus, Connor, Wesley, Aidan, and Nolan O'Malley, and Julia, Jack, and Jude Wall.
He is also survived by his mother Elva Mae Wall, his sister Twila Hagburg, and brother Dan E. Wall.
