DENISE KAY ROSBERG - ESSEX JUNCTION - Denise Kay Rosberg, 57, of Essex Junction, died on Monday, April 1, 2013, in Fletcher Allen Health Care. She was born in Attleboro, Mass., on Aug. 8, 1955, the beloved daughter of Norman and Marcia (Congdon) Rosberg. Denise was a very talented artist, quilter and potter with a wonderful sense of design. She was a free spirit with a great sense of humor who always went in her own direction. She loved all children and was a devoted mother and grandmother who was always there for anyone who needed her. Denise loved life to the fullest and will be sincerely missed by her family and friends. She will remain young and carefree in the hearts of all who knew her. Denise is survived by her children, Rachel Valyou of Starksboro, and Nathan Valyou of Georgia, Vt.; her parents, Norman and Marcia Rosberg of Jericho; her companion, Rick Lefebvre of Essex Junction; grandchildren, Keely Shaw, Tiana Valyou, and Emily Davis; siblings, Wayne Rosberg of Jeffersonville, Loreen Hitchcock of Springfield, Keith Rosberg of Alpine, Texas, Glenn Rosberg of Blandford, Mass., Neil Rosberg of Essex Junction; and by several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013, at 12 p.m. in the Ready Funeral and Cremation Service, Mountain View Chapel, 68 Pinecrest, Essex Junction. There will be a remembrance party immediately following at the American Legion Post #91, 3650 Roosevelt Highway, Colchester. So sorry to hear of this great loss. I remember Denise as such a bright and cheerful person. I last saw her in 1974 and have thought of her often over the years. I pray her family and loved ones will be greatly comforted in the days ahead. It is never easy, but I hope you will feel glad to have had such a bright star in your life.

I am so sorry to hear about Denise's death. She was like a foster sister to me and stayed at our house many times during our teenage years. I remember laughing and having fun with her. She was a good person, and a great mother.
