CLIFTON FREDERICK BENNETT

CLIFTON FREDERICK BENNETT - BURLINGTON - Clifton Frederick Bennett, 71, of Burlington, passed away Friday, Oct. 4, 2013. Cliff was born in Burlington on April 16, 1942, the son of the late Clifton and Rose Alma (Bourgeois) Bennett. He was a graduate of Rice Memorial High School. After high school, Cliff joined the Navy. After getting out of the Navy, he went to Alaska to live and work with his Uncle John in the plumbing business. On returning to Burlington, he joined Local 693, Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, and worked for many years in the plumbing field. On July 18, 1992, he married Arleen Mansini Bennett. Besides his wife of 21 years, he leaves a sister-in-law, Eileen Mansini and significant other, Roger Wiberg; five nieces; and many grandnieces and grandnephews. He also leaves relatives in Canada and Alaska, along with many good friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Msgr. Peter Routhier at St. Joseph's Co-Cathedral on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at the New Mount Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Stephen C.
