DOROTHY PERRON - ESSEX JUNCTION - Dorothy Perron, 96, passed away on Dec. 29 2013, with her children by her side, in the Vermont Respite House, in Williston. She was born on June 23, 1917, in Burlington, the daughter of Theodore and Mary Elizabeth (Potvin) Perrotte. She enjoyed gardening, dried flowers, quilting, was active in the Senior Citizens of Essex Junction, and delivered Meals on Wheels. Dorothy worked at Fletcher Allen Healthcare for 17 years in the Medical Records Department. She is survived by her three children, Helen and Larry King of Westford, Ron and Merrie Perron of North Ferrisburg, and Alice and Dean Paddock of Hadley, Mass.; six grandchildren, Laura Santaw and her husband, Rodney, Larry King Jr. and wife, Pam, Lonnie King and his wife, Calen, Lisa Brooks and husband, T.J., Jessica Duseau and husband, Eric, and Kristyn Paddock; 14 great-grandchildren, Ben, Samantha, Emily, Alison, Casey, Chasca, Zerima, Oliver, Mitchell, Evan, Natalie, Deana, Dylan, and Delaney; and her sister-inlaw, Bertha Perron. She was predeceased by her husband, Jean, in 1977; and her sister, Doris Quesnel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at 12 noon at The Holy Family Catholic Church in Essex Junction.
