HELEN V. HALL - MILTON/WINOOSKI - Helen V. Hall, 64, died early Wednesday morning, Jan. 30, 2013, in the Vermont Respite House in Williston, with her loving family by her side. Helen was born on Sept. 7, 1948, in Burlington, the daughter of James and Barbara (Graves) Butterfield. On Oct. 23, 1976, she married Earl Hall Jr. at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Milton. Mrs. Hall had worked for over 28 years at the Fanny Allen Hospital in Colchester. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and her yearly trips to the casinos to play the slots with family and friends. Helen loved her children and her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, and is survived by her son, Earl Patrick Hall and his wife, Sarah, of Milton; daughter, Laura Hall and her partner, Chad Geog, of Westford; and sons, Christopher Hall and his wife, Nikki, of St. Albans, and Andrew Hall and his wife, Chantel, of Swanton; grandchildren, Scott, Ellen, Michael, Elizabeth, Alysha, and Jacob; and great-grandson, Adyen; sisters, Ann Douglas and her husband, Wendell, of N.H., and Mary Gorton of Winooski; several nieces and nephews; and by her special friends, Phyllis and Brenda. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl in 2003; and brother-in-law, Robert Gorton. A celebration of Helen's life will be held on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Elks Club, Lodge # 1566, located on Grice Brook Lane, in St. Albans.
