JANE MARY (GAY) FISHER - BURLINGTON - Jane Mary (Gay) Fisher, 68, of Burlington, died on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, in Fletcher Allen Health Care, in Burlington. Jane was born in Burlington on Sept. 16, 1945, the daughter of Joseph and Rita (Longe) Gay. She received her education in the Burlington Schools. Jane worked most of her life as a child care provider. She enjoyed going to Bingo and going to the casino's. Her whole life revolved around her faith and children. Jane is survived by her five children, Jerry Fisher Jr. and Teresa Butala, Anne-Marie Edwards and her husband, Scott Sr., Rick Fisher and his wife, Tracy, Maria Fisher and Charlie Martin, and Michael Fisher and Brandy Nolan; and Randy Machia; grandchildren, Betsey, J.D. III, Joshua, Mattcop, Scott Jr., Tami, C.J., Charlotte, Tiffaney and Jeff, Steffaney and Chris, Brittaney, Whittaney, Ricky Jr., Jane, Amanda, R.J. Jr., Caleb, Faith, Taaya, Calleigh, Mikey Jr., and Jeff; great-grandchildren, James, Kelcie, Chris Jr. and Kaylyn; brothers and sisters, Joyce, Janice and Roger, Jerry, Jenny, June and Roger, Joanne and Bunny, and Jack; many nieces and nephews; and her children's father, Jerry Fisher, Sr. She was predeceased by her brothers, Jimmy, Joe, and John; and her sister, Jean. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Joseph Wingett and staff, Dr. Julie Adams, Sister Bibian, Mrs. Anita Roberts, Father Tim and Father John at FAHC. Visiting hours will be on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, from 4 to 7 p.m. at LaVigne Funeral Home, 132 Main St., Winooski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Co-Cathedral in Burlington. Interment will follow in New Mount Calvary Cemetery on Plattsburgh Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Co-Cathedral, 85 Elmwood Ave., Burlington, VT 05401.
