My deepest sympathies and condolences to Lou's family.

Like many others, I grew up going to Lou's with my Dad to shoot. My Dad always stopped by to see Lou beforehand and, when he was too ill for visitors, would stop by and ask how he was doing.

Lou will always be a part of my youth and those treasured moments with my Dad. God bless you Lou and may you rest in peace.

Louis was a wonderful man. He will, I know, be greatly missed by many, many people. When I was working in insurance and people learned my last name, they would ask if I was related to or knew Louis from Charlotte? Of course I answered I was related and knew him and his entire family and they are wonderful people. I'm in the midst of moving now but I wanted to let Judy and her family as well as all of Louis' siblings and their families know they are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Judy and Family,
Paul and I were deeply saddened to hear of Louie's passing. We think of him fondly, and will always remember him as a kind and thoughtful man. Stevie keeps a copy of the following quote, with a picture of her father, that we thought applies to Louie, as well:

"Try to remember that a good man can never die......The person of a man may go, but the best part of him stays. It stays forever." - Author

June 11, 2016

Trudy, Mark, Terri, Amie, Scotty and the rest of the Laberge whom I have not met. I am sorry for your loss. I have known Lou for over 30 years, he taught my children firearm safety, repaired and upgraded so many of my firearms and allowed my family to use the range for decades. Lou reminded me of my own father and I thought of him in that light. Having recently moved to Ohio, I will not be able to attend the services, but my thoughts are with your family.

To the entire Laberge family. It is with a sad heart to hear of the passing of a man that I respected and admired . We have lost someone that can not be replaced. Both Mr. and Mrs. Laberge treated me with respect every time I call for help with a gun, even when she had a cake on. She would call the shop to have Louie take the call, and he would help me .
