MARGARET "PEGGY" BOUFFARD

MARGARET "PEGGY" BOUFFARD - WINOOSKI - Margaret "Peggy" Bouffard, 69, a lifelong resident of Winooski, died peacefully in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, with her loving daughters at her side. Peggy was born in Burlington on Nov. 14, 1944, the daughter of Leonard and Theresa (Morin) Racicot. She was a graduate of Rice Memorial High School. On April 25, 1964, she married Alan Bouffard, who predeceased her on Jan. 5, 2008. Peggy loved cooking and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Peggy is survived by four children and their spouses, James and Marian Bouffard, Catherine and James Lessard, Kristin and Eric Eaton, and Jody Bouffard and her wife, Holly Hatch; eight grandchildren; brother, Robert Racicot and his wife, Sandra; brother-in-law, Raymond Campbell; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Patricia Campbell. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at 1 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery on Weaver St. in Winooski.
