SHEILA ANN (STANFORD) ROBERTS - SOUTH BURLINGTON - Sheila Ann (Stanford) Roberts, born Dec. 6, 1940, in Bellows Falls, passed away on Sept. 24, 2013, at home, surrounded by her family. Sheila graduated from Hartford High School in 1958, and married Stanley G. Roberts in 1960. Over her working career, she worked at Split Ball Bearing, EDS in Burlington, and Colchester Community Development. Sheila's favorite times throughout her life were spending time with family. Sheila was also blessed to have many wonderful friends throughout her life; and at the end, her wish was to spend as much time as possible reminiscing with family and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Anne-Marie (Roberts) Dubie and her fiance, Richard Grant, and Mary Beth (Roberts) Bouvier and husband, Mike; and five grandchildren, Kristine Dubie, Donald J. Dubie Jr., Jacob Bouvier, Matt Bouvier, and Sarah Bouvier. She is also survived by her siblings, Charles and wife, Pam Stanford, Raymond and wife, Susan Stanford, and Gail and husband, Peter Schaal; as well as in-laws, Martha and Joe Boucher, and Raymond and Doris Roberts. She is also survived by her special friend, Rene Cloutier. Sheila was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Stanley Roberts, in June 2013. She was also predeceased by her father, Ray Stanford; and her mother, Elizabeth (Kiniry) Stanford. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Sheila's life on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 1233 Shelburne Rd., South Burlington.
