BRADLEY J. DREW COLCHESTER - Bradley "B-Rad" J. Drew, 20, of Colchester, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2011 in Fletcher Allen Health Care of Burlington due to complications sustained from a car accident four years ago. He was born on Feb.18, 1990 in Burlington, the son of David and Laurie (Aiken) Drew. Brad attended Colchester High School. He was a very active young man that had several hobbies such as skateboarding, playing sports, fishing, biking, video games and hanging out with his friends. We will always remember him when we are eating banana cream pie as made by his aunt Linda. Brad experienced a special relationship with his aunt Wendy, including their matching tattoos. His spirit and personality will be deeply missed by his family and friends. The family would like to give special thanks to Brad's caregivers, Tom, Blue, Dave and Bruce for all their special care and kindness. Brad is survived by his parents, David and Laurie Drew of Colchester; his paternal grandparents, Herbert and Sandra Drew of Colchester; great-grandmother, Irene R. Drew of Las Vegas, Nev.; his maternal grandmother, Darlene "Mommy's Mommy"and her husband, Bill Cooper, of Swanton; his maternal grandfather, Richard Aiken and his wife, Veronica, of Bristol; his uncle and aunt, Abe and Wendy and their children, Michael and Brandon Lincoln of Colchester; as well as several other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He also leaves his special friend, his puppy, "Zen". He was predeceased by his uncle, Richie Aiken; and by several grandparents. Visiting hours will be today, Jan. 27, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. in the LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main St. in Winooski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. in Holy Cross Catholic Church in Colchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Brad's name to Colchester Rescue, P.O. Box 55, Colchester, VT 05446.
