To Craig and the entire Stebbins family.
You may or may not remember me Craig but we knew each other well back in the 1970's and the days of Shakey's Pizza Parlor where you worked at that time. Life was so easy back then as teenagers. I lived in Richmond at the time and you in South Burlington. You and I as well as many other friends drifted apart and lost contact. When I saw the last name of Stebbins while reading the obituaries, I had to read on. The picture of your Dad told me it had to be your Dad as you had many of his same features back then.
I want to say my heart and prayers go out to you and your entire family during this very sad time. It doesn't matter how old we are, it is never easy to lose a parent. I know, I lost both of mine several years ago. What I can offer is for all of you to keep his memory alive in your hearts and thoughts everyday. You may not be able to see him or touch him now, but I promise, he is just a thought away and with all of you always. I believe that with all of my heart. One day, a smile will replace the tear with a memory of him, though there will always be a time that a tear will still come to your eyes, that never ends. When you hear a gentle breeze or see all of the beauty around you, think of your Dad, as he is there and in your hearts for ever. He is a part of you all as you are a part of him. God Bless each of you and remember to smile a smile for your Dad from time to time. He will see that and that will make him smile back.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. A great history our families have together and how ironic Ed would pass the same day as Bev five years later. You all must take comfort that Ed is now free of all the pain he suffered and that he is watching over you and keeping you safe. Your fond memories will carry you through the pain. Take the time to laugh and cry together with all of your stories it is a great healing tool. God Bless.

Eddie was a really genuine guy and I have enjoyed visiting with him over the years! His family was very important to him and you all have been lucky to have him in your life. He will be missed for his humor and his caring. Norma, Craig and the rest of the family have been in my thoughts and prayers these last few weeks, and will continue to be. Keep all of those good, happy memories and he will be with us always.
