May God help you all get through this tragic death.
Addiction is not an easy road for all of those that surround the addict. Just remember you could not fix Chris. It was up to Chris to do the work. You didn't cause his addiction. And you couldn't control his addiction either. All you can do now is remember the good times ,and your love for him you will forever remain in your heart.
I know the tough road you have been down, I was fortunate. In one respect, but not another. When you have a tough day ask for Gods help and turn the tough things for God to carry for a while offer him the tough ones and he'll be there to help you through the tough times. He is sitting with God. And in a better place RIP Chris. I pray for PEACE , for your friends & Family ,for your loss.

There are no words to describe the sorrow I feel for your family,losing my brother exactly one year before your passing was and still is the biggest heartbreak in my life. I am thankful to have known you and been able to call you a friend. When Mike died you immediately reached out to me and we talked about how painful it was to lose him, it breaks my heart that your family is now feeling this same hurt. Wow, how do words do justice to convey to you my deepest sympathies in regards to the loss of a son, a brother, a friend among friends...My heart aches in hearing of Chris's passing...I've known Chris through my daughter Ashley for 15 years, both in and out of recovery, through High School, the Marines, moving to NH, always a smile on his face. Chris was a beautiful spirited soul that transcended a genuine kindness in his everyday. He was loved by many, and will always hold a special place in my heart, as that of my entire family. Chris will be missed by many, but his presence will always carry on, through all the people that he has touched in his life.
