Peggy, It's so hard to believe that this is real. I remember all your help when I had the twins. Bruce playing tickle monster with them and letting them play in the boat. They loved being at your house and seeing all of you. I promise I'll bring them by to see you. You've always been more like a big sister than an aunt, if there is anything I can do to help please let me know, I'll be around checking on you and Jessie and Travis and hopefully together we'll get through this difficult time and have our memories to share and help us celebrate Bruce's life and what he's meant to all of us. I love you.

Peggy, Travis, & Jessica
You were our 1st friends when we moved in downstairs from you, its hard to believe its been 14 years. We've become great friends over the years and we've become more like family then neighbors especially when shortly after moving in Bruce was willing to come help my family when we had a fire. We've shared a lot and I learned a lot from you and Bruce, especially with the kids. I'll never forget him telling the kids if they didn't behave he would come down and sit on them. And the boys will never forget their big fishing buddy. If you need anything call anytime day or night. We love you and our thoughts and prayers are with you

News of Bruce's passing truly saddens me. I have fond memories of our longtime next door neighbors. Of playing cowboys and Indians and baseball in the back field with the rest of the gang, block birthday parties, swinging on vines over the riverbank and frequent (daily) trips to the Derway's beach. A wonderful childhood. My condolences to Helen and all the family.
