Obituary Condolences

DOUGLAS D. HANDLEY RIDGWAY, Pa. - Douglas D. Handley, 56, of Ridgway, Pa., died unexpectedly Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010 at his residence. He was born Sept. 12, 1954 in Arlington, Va. and was the son of the late Charles and Faith Handley. He had been employed by the Ridgway Borough for the past 13 years and was vice president of the Ridgway Odd Fellows Lodge. Doug had a great passion for his Harley Davidson and was a collector of Harley memorabilia. He also loved guns, American eagles and the Civil War. He looked forward to his annual summer trip to Vermont, where he enjoyed time with his grandchildren and visiting with his many friends in the area. Doug is survived by two daughters, Emily Hatch of Whitefield, N.H., and Sarah Handley and Ben Spaulding of Milton; two granddaughters, Bailey Hatch and Lucille Spaulding; one grandson, Elijah Beaulieu; one sister, Colleen; and four brothers, Michael, Jeff, Kevin, and Brian. A gathering in Doug's honor will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the American Legion in Milton, Vt.
