ANNA MARY WHITE - SOUTH HERO - Anna Mary White, 89, died early Monday morning, May 14, 2012. Anna was born on Feb. 25, 1923, in Burlington, the daughter of John and Susan (Towne) Jackson. Mrs. White graduated from Cambridge High School and the Johnson Normal School. She married Harlow White on June 18, 1956, in Waterville. Harlow predeceased her in 2002. She is survived by her son, Hugh White and his wife, Sue, of Camden, Maine; and her grandchildren, Dylan and Abigail White. She is also survived by her brother, Giles Jackson; sisters, Connie Thompson and husband, Jack, Sally Senesac and husband, Jim, Frankie King, Doris Streeter, Janice Jackson, and Elinor Lawrence and husband, Ralph; and her sister-in-law Gilda Jackson. In addition to her husband, Harlow, she was predeceased by her infant son, Peter; her sisters, Rogene Butler and Lura Dyke; and brother, Julian Jackson. A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 17, 2012, at 1 p.m. in the South Hero Congregational Church with the Rev. Cordelia Burpee officiating. Burial will follow in the South Hero Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Minor Funeral and Cremation Center in Milton. Online condolences may be made to www.minorfh.com.
