Clet was never one to sit too long, once he mastered the job at hand he found something else to learn. He owned and operated Linden Gun Shop, first from his home and then on Church Street for many years, where the police walking the beat would stop in for a cup of coffee, a little conversation, and to get warm during the cold weather. He taught accounting at Champlain College, was a field auditor for the Internal Revenue Service, and owned and operated Walker Real Estate. Clet is survived by his wife of 59 years, MaryJane Walker; their five sons, Cletus B. Walker III and wife, Melina, of Milton, Timothy A. Walker of Colorado, Gregory J.
