COLLIN M. SILK - SHELBURNE - Collin Matthew Silk passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013. Born on June 1, 1967, in Burlington, Collin was the eldest son of Robert J. Silk and the late Joreen M. Silk of Shelburne. On Sept. 14, 1991, Collin married Glory Naruo of Koror, Palau. Collin was blessed with a wonderful son, Casey M. Silk, whom he cherished. Having lived in Vermont and Palau, Collin will be remembered for his kind heart, love of great food and cooking, and his lifelong passion for music of all kinds. Collin is survived by his wife, Glory of Koror, Palau; son, Casey of Shelburne; father, Robert, and brother, Todd, of Shelburne; sister, Desiree and husband, Donald Taylor, of Williston; and niece, Devin Taylor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Shelburne, with Monsignor Michael DeForge as celebrant. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Stephen C. Gregory and Son Cremation Service, Shelburne.
