She has survived by her son, Lenny Holbrook of Richmond, and children, William, Abie, Leonard S. 3rd, Sanford S. 3rd, and Tammy; son, Joe Enos of Colchester, and wife, Jackie; son, Robert Enos of Charlotte, and wife, Janey, and children, Miranda, Amy, Rob, and Jon; son, Elton Holbrook of Starksboro, and wife, Lisa, and children, Mindy, and Lindsey; son, Mark Holbrook of Monkton, and wife, Michelle, and children, Mark 2nd, and Mathew; daughter, Laurie Holbrook of Fairfax, and children, Jenny, Shannon, and Ashley; son, Sanford Holbrook of Hinesburg, and wife, Bobbi-Lynn, and children, Britteny, and Sanford CJ; sisters, Bert and family, and Diane and family; brother, Decky and family; Pauline and family, all of Massachusetts. Geneva had 26 great-grandchildren. Geneva enjoyed spending time with family, going for rides through the country, and dinners out on the town. She also enjoyed cooking her family homemade meals, and eating ice cream down by the water falls in Vergennes. Geneva was a fantastic yodeler, and loved listening to Charlie Pride, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. Geneva was famous for her pointy elbows. When one of us would get out of hand, we knew she was going to get after us with those elbows of hers! Geneva was a very loving and caring person, and she will be deeply missed by all that were blessed to have known her. A big thank you goes out to all of those who had a hand in taking care of Geneva in her home, as well and the staff at Starr Farm and Fletcher Allen. A wake will be held to celebrate Geneva's life at Brown-McClay Funeral Home, 48 S. Maple St., Vergennes, today, Tuesday, March 4, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m.
