Grant & Connie,
So sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you

September 29, 2009

Dear Aunt Laicita, Connie, David, Johnnie, Timmy and Heather, Most of my memories flow from the house we shared in Shrewsbury. All of you were born, except Heather. You, my dear, came a bit later. Our journeys on the hill across the street, the sledding on the nearby hill and flying saucer rides my Dad gave us from his truck, riding our bikes for hours on the dirt road, berry picking, tapping the trees for sap across from the house, jumping in the hay loft and trying to avoid all the snakes on the property. At least we shared that time. Life is a flicker, isn't it? Your Dad was a fine example for so many and he obviously succeeded in passing on the importance to all of you to share ones knowledge with others. Thinking about all of you. Love, Carole

I always felt a special bond with George: he gave me the professional opportunity of a lifetime and the privilege of sharing the state he loved so deeply.

I enjoyed working with him but must of all I enjoyed the friendship we shared. It was an honor I will miss this unique man and share your sorrow and loss.
